Wallpaper Design
Wallpaper design is a lighter, quicker way to add pattern and colour than full paneling. A single feature wall in a bedroom or dining room can carry bold florals, soft textures or geometric prints without overpowering the space. A 3d wallpaper uses shading or raised texture to suggest depth, which works best on one wall viewed from a distance.
Wallpaper needs a smooth, dry, primed wall. In Lahore, outer walls and walls next to washrooms are the risky ones, so choose an inner wall where possible and ask for washable or vinyl-coated paper in family areas.
- Use one wallpapered wall, not all four
- Test the wall for damp before hanging
- Choose washable paper in kids' rooms and dining areas
- Match the pattern scale to the room size

3D concept renders for inspiration — not photos of real houses or projects. A designer adapts any idea to your plot, budget and society rules.
Choosing the right panel for the room
Fluted panels are the most popular modern choice. Their vertical lines make walls look taller and catch light beautifully, so they suit TV walls and bed walls. Wooden finishes feel warm; painted or black flutes feel sharper and more contemporary.
PVC wall panels are light, quick to fix and easy to wipe, which makes them handy for kids' rooms, rental homes and corridors. Moulding panels painted in the wall colour bring a classic, tailored look to formal drawing rooms without adding heavy material.
- Fluted wood for TV and bed feature walls
- PVC for quick, washable finishes in busy areas
- Mouldings for traditional drawing and dining rooms
- Marble-look sheets for a glossy accent without heavy stone
Planning lighting, wiring and fixing
A panelled wall is the ideal place to hide TV cables, switch boxes and LED strips. Agree socket heights, TV position and any shelf or console before the frame goes up, so the carpenter can leave openings in the right places.
Most panels are fixed onto a batten frame, which leaves a small air gap behind. This helps with uneven walls and keeps panels away from minor damp, but the frame must be treated against termites in wooden builds.
- Mark the TV and socket positions on the drawing
- Run LED channels at the top or bottom edge for a soft glow
- Leave access to any hidden junction boxes
- Treat wooden battens against termites
