False ceiling estimate
Estimate false ceiling costs in Lahore — gypsum board, POP, PVC or grid ceilings — with optional cornice.
What affects the price
- Ceiling type and design (levels, curves)
- Lighting cut-outs and cove lights
- Board thickness and moisture resistance
- Painting and finishing
Good to know
- Gypsum, POP and PVC rates now come from 2026 Lahore price guides; grid tile and cornice are still missing and need contractor quotes.
- Classified-ad prices are likely per sq ft but the unit is not stated, so they are not used as rates.
- Rates usually include frame + board + finishing but exclude paint and lights; confirm scope in quotes.
- The accio.com page repeats finishes.pk figures, so the effective independent source count for ceiling rates is closer to 1.
- Cove/LED and multi-level designs cost 50-70% more than plain flat ceilings.
How we calculate
We researched current rates from several Pakistani suppliers, contractors, price lists and market reports in October 2026 and use the low and high end of what we found. Your inputs are multiplied by those rates to give a range, not a single figure. Labour, transport, taxes and your exact specification can move the final price, so treat the result as a budget guide and confirm with written quotes.
