Good to know
- Solar prices move 5-10% month to month with USD-PKR and panel prices.
- Per-kW cost falls with system size; 3-5 kW systems cost noticeably more per kW than 10 kW.
- On-grid and hybrid per-kW rates both come from one guide site; treat as indicative.
- Export rate is not formally notified as a fixed number; NAEPP-based estimates range Rs 8-11.
- LESCO's own estimator has used lower slab rates than the notified schedule, so actual bills may be slightly lower.
How we calculate
We researched current rates from several Pakistani suppliers, contractors, price lists and market reports in October 2026 and use the low and high end of what we found. Your inputs are multiplied by those rates to give a range, not a single figure. Labour, transport, taxes and your exact specification can move the final price, so treat the result as a budget guide and confirm with written quotes.
