About Houseplot

Pakistan's consent-first property marketplace — verified listings, sourced data, and customers in control.

Why we exist

Property search that respects the customer

Buying or renting in Lahore too often starts with copied photos, listings that sold months ago and a flood of calls after a single enquiry. Overseas buyers face the added risk of paying for files in schemes that were never approved.

Houseplot is built to reverse that. The customer decides how many professionals can contact them and when. Listings carry structured, comparable facts instead of photos. Professionals pay for qualified, consented leads — and their ranking depends on how they treat customers, not on how much they spend.

What Houseplot is — and is not

  • An online marketplace and information service for property in Pakistan, starting in Lahore.
  • Not a real estate agent, developer, lender or party to any deal.
  • Free for buyers, tenants and owners. Professionals buy lead credits.
  • Contact by email and forms only: webezze@gmail.com. We never call to ask for payments or codes.

Who is behind Houseplot

Junaid Tariq — Founder & Editor. Junaid founded Houseplot to bring verification, consent and transparent data to Pakistan's property market. He sets the editorial standards, signs off every guide and data page, and owns corrections.

Guides are researched from primary sources — FBR, the Punjab Land Records Authority, the Lahore Development Authority, the State Bank of Pakistan and official society notices — and each page lists the sources it relies on. Where we use secondary sources (news reports, encyclopaedias, published dealer plans) the page says so.

Guides on tax, law and finance are general information, reviewed against official sources at the date shown — not legal or financial advice.

Editorial standards

  • Every number is sourced and dated; unverifiable figures are left out or flagged.
  • No paid placement in guides, price tables or rankings.
  • Pages show "Updated" dates and are reviewed at least every six months, sooner after budgets or rule changes.
  • Corrections: email webezze@gmail.com with the page URL; we reply within 2 working days and note material corrections on the page.
Methodology

How we compile prices, society data and payment plans

Prices

Price tables show indicative average asking prices by society, phase and size, compiled from public listing indices for the month shown. Implausible values are removed. As Houseplot's own verified listings, agent rate surveys and customer-confirmed deals grow, they replace the compiled averages — each table names its basis and data month.

Societies

Society pages combine developer and authority sources: approval status, phases, blocks, access roads and contacts. Contacts appear only once confirmed on an official channel; anything unconfirmed is labelled "being verified". Illegal-scheme lists link to the authority's own publication.

Payment plans

Installment plans show the source, date and a status — Current, Check, Outdated or Caution. Schemes with approval concerns are listed only with a warning and are never promoted.

Read the disclaimer and the listing policy.

How verification works

Confirmed contact

Every account confirms its email, and every requirement is checked by our team before any agent sees it.

Document check

Badges appear only after we review the ownership document type, registration or NOC.

14-day availability

Sellers re-confirm every 14 days; unconfirmed listings pause after 48 hours.

Report & review

Three reports hide a listing until reviewed. Repeat offenders lose badges or access.
