What each part of the plan means
- Booking / down payment: paid when you reserve; ask whether it is refundable and on what terms.
- Confirmation or allocation: some plans add a payment when the plot number is confirmed.
- Monthly or quarterly installments: the main schedule; check the start date and whether late payment carries a surcharge or cancellation.
- Balloon or half-yearly payments: larger lumps that are easy to miss when you compare plans.
- Possession and development charges: often due at handover and not always included in the headline price.
Questions to ask the developer
- Is the scheme approved, and can I see the NOC and approved layout plan?
- Is the price fixed, or can development charges increase later?
- What happens if I miss an installment — grace period, surcharge, cancellation?
- What is the refund policy if I cancel, and how long does a refund take?
- When is the expected possession date, and what happens if it is delayed?
- Can I transfer the file before possession, and what does transfer cost?

Lahore Garden Housing Scheme is a new private plot scheme marketed on installments on the north-western side of Lahore. Agency sources place it on Lahore–Jaranwala Road near the M-2 and M-3 motorways and name Aura Developers & Builders as developer; a website using the scheme's name instead gives Main Sharaqpur Road near Faizpur Interchange. Launch year is not published.

- Approval not confirmed: agency pages say the LDA NOC is still pending; no approval was found on the copy of LDA's approved list.
- LDA's illegal-schemes list includes an entry named 'LAHORE GARDEN' (no location given, DMP-I zone 9) per a third-party copy of the list (Avenir Developments, Oct 2026). It could not be confirmed whether this is the same scheme — ask LDA.
- Location is given differently by different sellers (Lahore–Jaranwala Road vs Main Sharaqpur Road near Faizpur Interchange). A site using the scheme's name (lahoregarden.info) names no developer and reuses images from other projects, so it was not treated as official.
- LDA's own lists at lda.gop.pk could not be opened for this check; approval entries come from a third-party copy of those lists. Verify the exact scheme name, mauza and approved area with LDA (lda.gop.pk) before paying.
