- Brick rules were checked against Pakistani 9×4.5×3 in bricks: geometry gives 11.2/cft, 4.55/sq ft, 9.1/sq ft, 18.9 cft mortar/1,000; the rule values sit at or slightly above these, allowing for undersized bricks and breakage.
- Brick prices rise in winter when kilns are shut for smog control.
- Sand now has 5 sources but a wide range between truckload and small delivered loads.
- Hollow block prices vary widely by size and by source; prefer the per-size keys.
How we calculate
We researched current rates from several Pakistani suppliers, contractors, price lists and market reports in October 2026 and use the low and high end of what we found. Your inputs are multiplied by those rates to give a range, not a single figure. Labour, transport, taxes and your exact specification can move the final price, so treat the result as a budget guide and confirm with written quotes.
