featured_mode: card | illustrationEvent farmhouses around Lahore were listed in October 2026 from roughly Rs25,000–50,000 for small pool-party slots to Rs3 lakh or more for large lawns, with Bedian Road and Barki Road the main clusters; check capacity, generator backup, timing limits and Punjab's one-dish rule before you pay an advance.
Key takeaways - Listed starting prices for event farmhouses around Lahore in October 2026 ranged from about Rs50,000 to Rs3.5 lakh per event on one venue marketplace, with smaller pool-party slots advertised from about Rs25,000–35,000. - Bedian Road and Barki Road are the two main clusters; Raiwind Road, DHA and the Wahga side also have options. - Punjab's one-dish rule applies to farmhouses, not just marriage halls, and Lahore's district administration has sealed a farmhouse for running past permitted hours. - Size in kanals tells you little. Ask for seated and standing capacity, parking and generator capacity. - Get the hours, what the price includes and the cancellation terms in writing before paying an advance.
Farmhouses have become Lahore's default venue for mehndis, dholkis, birthdays and corporate days. They feel private, the lawns are big and you can bring your own caterer, usually. But the price on a listing is rarely the price you pay, and the rules have tightened. This is what we found in October 2026.
Quick answer
For a mid-size family event of a few hundred guests, budget roughly Rs1–2.5 lakh for the venue alone, based on October 2026 listings for Bedian and Barki Road farmhouses. Small pool parties or day slots start much lower.
Then add catering, décor, sound and generator fuel if not included. Confirm the finishing time, because enforcement is real.
Price per day/event
We reviewed listings on VenueHub's farmhouse category in October 2026. All prices are "starting from" figures as listed. They are asking prices, not confirmed bookings.
| Location | Size | Listed starting price | Notes on listing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bedian Road | 20 kanal | Rs175,000 per night/event | Up to 400 guests, pool, AC indoor areas |
| Bedian Road | 53 kanal | Rs250,000 per night/event | Up to 400 guests |
| Barki Road | 16 kanal | Rs50,000 per event | — |
| Barki Road | 24 kanal | Rs85,000 per event | — |
| Barki Road | 15 kanal | Rs120,000 per night/event | 2 rooms, 4 baths (listing) |
| Barki Road | 12 kanal | Rs170,000 | Pool |
| Raiwind Road | 10–110 kanal | Rs110,000–300,000 per event | Four listings |
| DHA | 8–35 kanal | Rs50,000–350,000 | 35 kanal priced per lunch/dinner |
| Wahga Border | 16 kanal | Rs80,000 per event | — |
| Wapda Town | 4 kanal | Rs80,000 per night/event | — |
Smaller slots exist too. On EventAffairs, a farmhouse in Hadyara off Barki Road lists base rent of Rs25,000 for 8 hours. Another Barki Road venue lists a Rs30,000–100,000 range (EventAffairs). A 36-kanal farmhouse on Main Bedian Road advertises pool parties and bonfire-BBQ from Rs35,000 on its Google Business profile.
Our reading: price tracks lawn size, pool and indoor air-conditioning more than location. Weekends and wedding season will cost more than a listing's "starting" figure.
Capacity and facilities
Listings rarely state capacity. Of the 16 farmhouses on VenueHub's first page, only two gave a guest number. Ask directly, and ask for both seated dinner and standing numbers.
Checklist to send before a visit:
- Seated and standing capacity on the main lawn.
- Covered or indoor area if it rains, and whether it is air-conditioned.
- Parking: how many cars inside, and where the rest go.
- Generator: capacity in kVA, fuel included or not.
- Washrooms: number, and whether separate for guests and staff.
- Rooms for the bride's family or performers to change.
- Pool: filled and cleaned before your slot, safety cover for children.
- Kitchen or catering area with water and power.
- Lighting for the drive and parking.
Power deserves extra care. One public review on the Bedian Road farmhouse's Google profile complained of an unfilled pool and a power outage with no backup. That is one customer's account, not verified, but it is exactly the failure that ruins an evening event.
Locations (Bedian Road, Barki Road)
Bedian Road runs south-east from the Defence area towards the border. Its farmhouses tend to be larger, with several 20–50 kanal listings. Access from DHA and Cantt is the main draw. The Bedian Road listings we saw were priced from about Rs1.75 lakh.
Barki Road runs east from Cantt towards Barki, with clusters around Hadyara. It has the widest price spread, from small Rs25,000–50,000 venues to Rs1.7 lakh lawns with pools.
Raiwind Road suits guests coming from Johar Town, Wapda Town and Bahria Town. Listings we saw ran Rs1.1–3 lakh.
Whichever road, check the last kilometre. Many farmhouses sit down narrow link roads. Ask whether a coaster or a decorated car can turn at the gate, and how guests find it at night.
Booking terms
This is where listings say least. None of the pages we opened set out a deposit, cancellation or security policy, so you must ask.
| Term | What to get in writing |
|---|---|
| Hours | Start and finish time, setup and cleanup windows |
| Inclusions | Chairs, lights, generator fuel, pool, rooms |
| Catering | Outside caterer allowed? Any kitchen fee? |
| Advance | Amount, and how it is refunded if the venue cancels |
| Cancellation | Your refund by notice period |
| Security deposit | Amount and deductions for damage |
| Rules | Music limits, fireworks, guest count cap |
Then the law. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz directed enforcement of the one-dish rule at weddings and said it "also applies to farmhouses and private properties," APP reported in February 2025. In December 2025, ProPakistani reported orders to act against illegal loudspeakers at farmhouses and open grounds.
Enforcement is not theoretical. In October 2025, Lahore's administration sealed halls and a farmhouse in Saddar tehsil for running functions beyond the permitted time, Dawn reported. If your venue gets sealed mid-event, your advance is the least of your problems.
Ask the owner what time they close, and whether they will stop the event at that time. A venue that promises "no problem, late chalta hai" is promising something it cannot deliver.
What we'd do
We would shortlist three farmhouses on the side of Lahore closest to most guests, then visit each at the same time of day as the event. We would ask for the generator spec and see it run.
We would agree hours, inclusions, cancellation and catering rules on one written page, pay the smallest advance the venue accepts, and plan the menu and timing around the one-dish rule from the start.
