Buyers posting "plot wanted in Lahore" usually specify society, block, size, possession status and budget, so owners who reply with a clear title, approved-map location, a price inside the current range and their documents ready are the ones who close.
A "plot wanted" request in Lahore is a buyer telling the market exactly what they will pay for: a size, a society, sometimes a block, and a budget. If you own a matching plot, the fastest way to close is a price inside the current range and paperwork ready on day one.
What plot buyers usually specify
Most wanted requests cover the same points. Read them closely before you reply.
| Buyer asks for | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Society and block or phase | A plot one block over may not fit; say so honestly |
| Size (5 marla, 10 marla, 1 kanal) | Confirm the marla basis: LDA uses 225 sq ft in Lahore District |
| Possession or file | Possession plots and files are different products; don't blur them |
| Corner, park-facing, main boulevard | These carry a premium; have the allotment letter showing the status |
| Budget | Tells you whether the buyer is realistic for your block |
| Filer status / payment mode | Affects the buyer's advance tax and how fast funds move |
How to price your reply
Start from the current range for your society and size, then adjust for block, location within the block and development.
| Society | 5 marla plot (crore) | 10 marla plot (crore) | 1 kanal plot (crore) |

Source: Houseplot's indicative price data (Oct 2026). Phase-level ranges are wider; within DHA, for example, a 1 kanal plot ranges from roughly 2.9–5.9 crore in Phase 7 to roughly 5.35–8.2 crore in Phase 6. If your society or size isn't listed, our data doesn't cover it; use recent sales on your street.
Price near the top only if your plot has something the buyer asked for: corner, park-facing, main road, possession with utilities. An overpriced reply is usually ignored.
Documents to have ready
| Document | Why the buyer will ask |
|---|---|

| CNICs and, for overseas owners, a registered power of attorney | Needed at transfer |
PLRA fees are from its FY2026-27 service charges, which also list Rs3,000 for its property transfer system for societies and development authorities.

How to respond so the deal closes
- Reply with the exact plot: society, block, number, size and status.
- State your price and what you'll negotiate on.
- Offer to share the allotment letter and a no-dues confirmation once a token is agreed.
- Put the token, the balance date and the transfer date in a written receipt.
- Take payments by bank transfer or pay order, not cash.
- Complete the transfer at the society or sub-registrar office together.
Red flags in "wanted" requests
- A "buyer" who wants your original documents before any token.
- Requests to transfer through a third party's name you haven't met.
- Pressure to under-declare the price on the deed.
- Payment offered only in cash, or by a cheque dated weeks ahead.
