By using Houseplot.pk you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Houseplot.pk ("Houseplot", "we") is an online marketplace that connects people who buy, sell or rent property with each other and with real estate professionals. Houseplot is not a real estate agent, developer, lender or party to any transaction.
1. Who can use Houseplot. You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract under Pakistani law. Businesses must be lawfully registered, and the person who signs up must have authority to act for them.
2. Accounts.
- You register with a mobile number verified by one-time code. Keep your login private; you are responsible for everything done through your account.
- You choose one account type: Personal User, Real Estate Agent/Agency, Developer, Housing Society (official), Architect, Interior Designer, Construction Company/Contractor, Home Builder, Property Management Company, Mortgage Broker/Home Finance Advisor, Short-Term Rental Host/Manager, or Building Materials Supplier.
- Information you give, including business registration numbers, must be true and current. We may ask for documents to verify you and may show a verification badge only after checking them.
3. Listings and requests.
- You may post a property only if you own it or are authorised by the owner in writing to market it.
- Listings must follow the Listing & Content Policy: accurate price, size, location and legal status; no listings in societies declared illegal by the relevant authority; no duplicates.
- Listings carry no user photos. Houseplot shows a generated illustration with the listing's specifications, labelled "Illustration — not an actual photo".
- Requests (to buy, rent, sell or rent out) are shared only with the number and type of professionals you choose and only after you consent.
4. Lead Exchange. Professionals who unlock leads also agree to the Lead Exchange & Professional Terms. Houseplot does not guarantee that any lead results in a deal.
5. Prohibited conduct. You must not:
- post false, misleading, fraudulent or duplicate content, or bait listings at prices you will not honour;
- harass, spam or contact users outside the contact limits they set;
- collect other users' data, scrape the site, or use bots without our written permission;
- upload malware, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with the site;
- post content that is unlawful under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 (as amended) or other Pakistani law, or that infringes anyone's copyright or other rights;
- take payments, "token money" or advances through Houseplot messages while pretending to be Houseplot.
6. Content you post. You keep ownership of your content. You give Houseplot a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, format, translate and promote it on Houseplot and its marketing while it is live, and to keep anonymised data (for example prices by block and size) to produce market statistics.
7. Our content. The site design, software, illustrations, price index, Society data compilations and text are owned by Houseplot or its licensors. You may not copy or republish them in bulk without written permission.
8. Prices, estimates and information. Price ranges, price tables, estimates, calculators and AI assistant answers are approximate and for information only. See the Disclaimer.
9. Fees. Posting and requests are free for personal users. Paid products for professionals (credits, subscriptions, boosts, campaigns) are described at /agents/pricing/ and governed by the Lead Exchange & Professional Terms.
10. Suspension and removal. We may remove content, limit features or suspend accounts that break these Terms or the law, or that create risk for other users. Where reasonable we will tell you why and how to appeal through /contact/.
11. Liability.
- Houseplot provides the site "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from transactions between users, from the accuracy of user content, or for indirect or consequential loss.
- Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid Houseplot in that period, or PKR 10,000 if you paid nothing.
- Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Pakistani law.
12. Indemnity. You will compensate Houseplot for claims caused by your content or your breach of these Terms.
13. Changes. We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with its date and, for material changes, notify registered users by email or in-app at least 7 days before they take effect.
14. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Courts at Lahore have exclusive jurisdiction.
